Privacy note

This note covers the WorkroomCalc website at https://workroomcalc.co.uk/ and the iOS app WorkroomCalc version 1.0.0 build 1 (bundle ID com.any1tan.workroomcalc). Both local tools are free without login; optional website AI uses a Google-only account. A native app demo account is not required. Contact: hello@workroomcalc.co.uk.

Website calculator

The website performs its calculator arithmetic in the browser. Width, drop, allowances and calculated results are not sent by the standard calculator. The standard calculator requires no account and provides no checkout, analytics or advertising. Optional AI account cookies are described below. Ordinary closing or refreshing clears on-screen figures, apart from the one-use Google return described below; the website does not write a job-history file.

Optional AI account

Optional AI uses a Google-only account and an essential same-site session cookie. The server stores account identity, credit balances, request status and non-content financial proofs. Purchases and AI generation are currently closed. When enabled, recovery content is limited to five minutes from the original request claim, including uncertain or unacknowledged requests. Reads are blocked at expiry; running cleanup, close and restart enforce deletion, subject to maintenance failures that block new requests. Non-content identities, hashes, usage and financial acknowledgements remain for accounting and recovery; a pending hold can outlive the content. Provider retention follows provider policies and is not covered by this server limit. Google identity is not sent to the model. Google navigation temporarily stores this tab’s measurements, original units, job labels, project rows, material selections and motif drafts in sessionStorage for up to 30 minutes and consumes them once on return. AI notes and results are excluded. A pending request reference and input hash allow checking without automatically sending the note again. Local tools remain free without sign-in.

Optional AI room-note helper

The optional helper sends the room-note text only after you choose Prepare editable review. The note goes to the WorkroomCalc server and then through the self-hosted 9router service using the Kimi K3 model. Do not include names, contact details, payment details or confidential job notes. The model does not receive the rest of the calculator form. Its response is shown as a read-only review of extracted values and source quotes. It does not change width or drop until you choose Confirm and apply measurements. You can then edit the calculator inputs if needed.

WorkroomCalc does not add submitted notes to your local job history. The private server recovery records described above do store submitted notes and AI results. The server and external AI service still process the note to return the review and may create ordinary operational or security logs under their applicable service policies.

Access, correct or delete your website and AI account information

To request a copy of the personal information we hold about your website or optional AI account, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete it, email hello@workroomcalc.co.uk with the subject Privacy data request. Tell us the email address used for your Google sign-in and whether you want access, a correction, or deletion. For a correction, explain which information is inaccurate. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or payment-card details.

We verify account ownership before sharing or changing account information. We may ask you to confirm the request from the account email address or sign in to this website. We then handle the request through this support channel and explain the information provided, corrected or deleted. Google profile information is managed in your Google account; contact us about inaccurate information held by this website.

A deletion request can cover account and AI-related personal information under our control. Necessary transaction, credit, refund, security and non-content recovery records may need to be retained for accounting, dispute handling or legal requirements. We explain any information retained and the reason in our response. This does not extend the five-minute AI content limit described above. Signing out ends the current session but does not delete the server account. Website data requests are handled by email; there is no self-service account deletion or personal-data export button on this website.

Clipboard

The website never reads the clipboard. It writes a planning sheet to the clipboard only after you choose Copy planning sheet. If the browser cannot write, the page asks you to select and copy the text yourself.

Ordinary host request logs

Standard calculator values are not posted to the server. The optional AI note is the exception described above. The public host may generate ordinary server request logs such as IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp and status code. This repository does not add a measurement tag, advertising pixel or third-party privacy SDK.

iOS app — local JSON job history

The native app keeps user-created job history locally as JSON documents in the app Application Support container (WorkroomCalc/jobs). Stored fields include job name, optional room and fabric notes, inputs, allowances, deterministic results, timestamps, and UUID identity. You can open and delete saved jobs in the app. Deleting a job removes that local copy. WorkroomCalc does not upload the history and does not operate cloud backup, cloud sync, or remote recovery.

Local Application Support data may be included in device backups managed by iOS or the user, such as iCloud Device Backup or a computer backup. Those system-managed device backups and any restore from them are outside WorkroomCalc's control. WorkroomCalc does not provide remote recovery of a deleted job.

The app itself does not collect or track data and has no app-initiated network requests. PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy declares no tracking and no collected data types. Local JSON job history is on-device storage, not data collected by WorkroomCalc.

iOS PDF sharing

After you tap Prepare PDF / Print Job Pack, the app renders a PDF job pack locally and presents the Apple system share sheet. WorkroomCalc does not automatically upload that PDF. The destination you select (Files, Mail, print, or another share target) is outside WorkroomCalc's control and may transfer or process the file under that destination's terms.

Accounts, payments and tracking

• The website offers optional Google accounts; the native app needs no account.
• Available one-time AI credit purchases use Waffo checkout; the Site does not store card details. The native app has no in-app purchases. Neither product sells a subscription.
• It does not load an analytics tracker, advertising pixel, or live support widget.
• The website sends only an explicitly submitted optional AI room note to the AI service.
• The native app does not make app-initiated network requests.

AI text safety check

When you submit an optional AI request, your room and fabric note and the operation/model identifiers are sent to Waffo for a text safety check before generation. Account email, session cookies, uploaded images and local tool files are not included in this check. Generation proceeds only after the check permits it. Local calculations and manual tools do not use this service.
